THROUGH OUR ENDING IS OUR BEGINNING

a memento mori ceremony is a meditative experience prompting serious reflection on one's life and priorities through contemplation of one’s mortality.

What should I expect?

Ceremony goers are presented with their own memorial, are asked to write their last words, and then participate in a death visualization meditation. They are guided to death and are then brought back to life.

“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.”
